Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a flooring installer to lay and fit LVT, VCT, carpet, ceramic, and other coverings on sites in Georgia. You will measure, cut, and install materials, mix compounds as needed, and ensure proper alignment and seamless joints.

You will work under a project manager, follow directions, and maintain tools and cleanliness on site. Must be 18+, hold a regular driver's license, and pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Installs LVT, VCT, carpet, ceramic, and other flooring as directed
• Mixes and applies required compounds to join and adhere foundation/flooring material
• May be required to perform calculations related to surface area, cubic volume and material quantities
• Sweeps, scrapes, sands, or cleans base surfaces to correct imperfections that may show through the covering
• Determines traffic areas and decides location of seams as applicable
• Cuts coverings and foundation materials according to blueprints and sketches
• Uses and maintains hand tools and equipment safely, identify and correct hazards
• Willingness to learn and receive instruction/direction from project manager

• Willingness to learn and receive instruction/direction from project manager
