Job summary

Real Floors Commercial, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Commercial Construction Manager (Flooring) to bridge the field and project management. You will oversee installation progress, coordinate with GC teams, and ensure profitability and quality while maintaining schedules. Travel to other markets is required.

The role demands 2+ years CM experience and 3+ years general commercial construction, plus a practical approach and strong communication. A company vehicle is provided after probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as commercial Construction Manager.
• Minimum 3+ years commercial construction experience.
• Willingness to travel full-time to other markets.
• Energetic, proactive and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication with GC's and project teams.
• English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Existing in-market relationships are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support commercial construction projects ensuring profitability, quality, and timely completion.
• Travel full-time to other markets for training and/or project support.
• Coordinate with GC Superintendents, attend weekly project meetings, and oversee 2-3 Project Managers.
• Conduct site inspections, manage subcontractors, and ensure all project documentation is accurate.
• Oversee material staging, security, and ensure punch list completion with GC approval.
• Handle change orders, progress billing, and update project software (ProCore, BuildPro).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
