Job summary

ARK is seeking a Commercial Fire & Security System Installer to join our on-site team in Baltimore. You will install control panels, wiring, conduit, perform testing and basic programming, and coordinate with the on-site customer and project manager.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of related experience, field electrical/electronic background, a valid driver's license, and eligibility to obtain Maryland and Virginia security licenses (paid by ARK).

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of alarm system requirements and ability to interpret code books.
• Able to utilize a laptop with system application software.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Installation of control panels, wiring, conduit and raceway and field device terminations.
• Coordinating daily scheduling with the customer on-site.
• Daily communication with project manager.
• Maintaining drawings and/or schematics.
• Perform troubleshooting as required.
• Conducts quality assurance.
• Timely completion of documentation.
• Basic panel programming and set up/testing.
