Job summary

ServiceMaster Brands is seeking a Commercial Restoration Project Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and temporary labor on large loss projects, including fire, mold, and water recovery. You will manage site setup, safety, progress documentation, and hands-on work when needed.

The role requires strong communication with customers, dependable scheduling, and proficiency with Outlook/Excel/Word and Google Drive. DOT/OSHA/IICRC certifications are preferred; remote/travel responsibilities apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with customers and manage temporary laborers.
• Must be dependable, flexible, and able to handle changing work conditions.
• On-call 24x7 availability and ability to complete forms and paperwork.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Google Drive.
• Experience as Restoration Technician is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead large loss commercial restoration projects and teams.

Location: Our Commercial Operations Center is based out of Olathe, KS however, this position can be based anywhere in the United States. It's a remote/travel position and our teams travel 200+ days out of the year as they respond to catastrophic events.

Join our team as a Commercial Restoration Project Supervisor!

You will engage in fire, mold, water restoration and cleanup in our Large Loss Division. This is an opportunity to lead a team of temporary laborers and technicians in projects, which includes paperwork, job assignments, recognizing hazards, and expressing concerns to those in charge. This is a labor-intensive position and a very rewarding career!

What you'll do:

• You are the backbone of our large loss commercial restoration project work.
• You’ll set up work areas, ensuring that all supplies and equipment are available and ready to use (this includes making sure equipment is running and any malfunctions are reported).
• You’ll inspect the work area for any and all hazards, or those that could present during the shift, complete necessary forms with all hazards, and share hazards to employees entering the worksite.
• You’ll photo document job progress and manage the work that needs to be completed, as well as jump in and do the work with your team when necessary.
• Perform content inventory and complete moisture mapping and monitoring throughout the jobs.
• We clean up after major hurricanes and floods, so you will extract water from flooded structures and remove damaged materials such as flooring and drywall.

What you'll bring:

• The ability to talk with customers, manage temporary laborers, and complete simple mathematical calculations and paperwork.
• Must be dependable and reliable, as well as flexible, enjoying work that frequently changes.
• Must be able to pass drug testing and a criminal background check.
• Be on call 24x7.
• Proficiency in the use of various software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Google Drive)
• Experience as a Restoration Technician (Restoration Tech) a plus

The licensing/registration and certification requirements

• Required: Valid State Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass DOT physical and follow all DOT regulations.
• Maintain and/or Obtain OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training and IICRC Certification
• Certified on the operation of Forklifts and other lift equipment preferred but not required
