Job summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking a Commercial Facilities Maintenance Technician to support facilities nationwide. The role involves preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and general service of buildings, equipment, and grounds across a geographic territory.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of general maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, plus a valid driver's license and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of general maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to read safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and present information in individual and small group settings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and database software.
• Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems, including toilet repairs and valve replacements.
• Carry out routine painting, carpentry, and general maintenance to keep facilities in like‑new condition.
• Repair and maintain walls, floors, doors, and painting as needed.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance within state law without a license.
• Complete service and asset inspections as needed.
• Utilize a tablet or smartphone to access and complete work orders, submit reports and logs.
• Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks.
• Maintain timely communication with customers and internal support teams.
• Attend weekly safety meetings and complete required safety training.
• Provide estimates for larger projects and services needed at onsite locations.
