Your Design by Young Designers, Mentored by Pros

Reports to: Director & Marketing Manager

Type: Full-time / Freelance

Location: Remote, with potential travel for events

Experience Level: Junior / Entry-Level

We're hiring for two positions: one candidate based in the Americas and another based in Europe or the UK.

As Commercial Excellence & Community Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding TLDP’s impact and reach by generating new business opportunities, nurturing client and partner relationships, and managing the lead pipeline with precision and creativity. Working closely with the Director and Marketing Manager, you will help drive business development, community engagement, and revenue growth through strategic outreach, lead nurturing, and operational excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of client engagement, research, and proactive communication, with a passion for innovation, design, and meaningful relationships.

1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Building

  • Lead proactive outreach to potential B2B clients (hotels, developers, operators, etc.) through email, LinkedIn, and phone
  • Nurture qualified leads into long-term paying clients through consistent, tailored engagement
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations and maintain at least 3 active contacts per company
  • Represent TLDP at events, expos, and conferences to network and identify new leads
  • Update and maintain the CRM (Monday.com) with contact details, lead status, and key notes
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure campaigns are aligned with lead needs and status
  • Propose targeted campaigns and email updates to engage the TLDP community and lead base
  • Track all outreach activities, meetings, and follow-ups through Monday.com
  • Research and qualify leads using Apollo.io or similar tools
  • Design thoughtful follow-up sequences (emails, messages, calls) to move leads toward conversion
  • Ensure data hygiene: keep all CRM records up-to-date, including company structures and multiple contacts per account
  • Assist the Director in developing and refining client acquisition strategies
  • Conduct sector-specific research to identify new industry verticals aligned with TLDP (e.g., co-living, student housing, senior living, sustainable brands)
  • Share insights on trends and opportunities in interior design, hospitality, or innovation sectors
  • Help prepare talking points, decks, or documentation for client meetings or investor/sponsor discussions

4. Community & Ecosystem Development

  • Support the Director in identifying and onboarding new sponsors, mentors, and partners
  • Engage TLDP’s mentor, junior, and client communities via regular email updates and thoughtful touchpoints
  • Maintain a calendar of relationship touchpoints to ensure consistent visibility with warm and cold leads
  • Market intelligence: Track similar platforms/startups for inspiration and positioning.

We'd love to work with you if...

  • you possess 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or community management
  • you have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • you're proactive and organized, with attention to detail and follow-through
  • you're comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Monday.com), email platforms, and lead generation tools (Apollo.io or equivalent)
  • you're passionate about design, innovation, and purpose-driven businesses
  • confident representing TLDP externally at networking events (online and offline)
