Job summary

First American is hiring an Escrow Assistant in Seattle to support our commercial real estate team. You will assist in the escrow process for simple and complex transactions, prepare closing documents, and handle disbursement and follow-up.

You will communicate with customers throughout the escrow process, interpret agreements, and use MS Office and related technologies to ensure a smooth experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of escrow-related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize time and workload to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the escrow process for simple and complex commercial transactions, including preparing documents for closing and inputting closing statement information.
• Handle disbursement and follow-up to ensure timely closings.
• Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process and adapt communication style as needed.
• Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings.
• Use MS Office and other technologies to enable escrow transactions and deliver a phenomenal customer experience.
