Job description

The Shop & Tech Helper will maintain the day to day maintenance at the building locations and office. This position is to provide support and assistance on installs as well as day to day service calls.

Essential Responsibilities& Accountabilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the shop area daily
  • Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the building, shop and office
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment
  • Receive and load equipment for delivery
  • Make weekly runs to turn in scrap equipment and parts
  • Provide maintenance and cleanliness of branch delivery truck
  • Make ready and wash branch fleet/vans
  • Parts Runner, occasionally will deliver parts to service technicians as needed
  • Provide support and assistance on service installs (some evenings/weekends may be required)
  • Must be able to travel out of town for numerous days at a time
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid Texas Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record and background check
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Set and prioritize responsibilities
  • Handle a variety of work assignments
  • Proficient in MS Office and other computer applications
  • Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School or GED Equivalent
  • Commercial Food Equipment Service Association a plus
  • EPA Universal Certification a plus
