UP TO $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Profile:

We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual with exceptional leadership skills to join our team as an Account Sales Representative in the DC, MD, VA regions.

Core Accountabilities include:

Ability to sell our commercial, integrated low voltage systems solutions. Our offerings include communication infrastructure (voice, video, and data), fire, sound, security, access control, and CCTV. This person works closely with the customer to provide the best possible solution for their immediate and future needs. Maintain the ARK mission statement, goals, and values as standards of performance and conduct at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Previous experience in selling low voltage commercial systems.
  • Maintain and archive proposals and bids for future actions.
  • Attend site surveys to determine necessary installation and sales requirements.
  • Assist customers with technical and installation issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with established accounts.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with standard practices within low voltage product lines and construction; a strong technical background in electronics and communication is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of installation practices and construction procedures is advantageous.
  • Understanding of State, Local, and Industry standards for low voltage wiring, fire alarm, sprinkler, and device installation.
  • Valid driver's license and transportation required; ability to obtain Maryland Security Systems Sales and VA DCJS licenses.
  • Mobility for site surveys and inspections.
  • Positive, respectful attitude to foster good working relationships with management, staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
Education and Experience:
  • Experience in industries such as sound, low voltage wiring, fire alarm, life safety, construction, or electrical is a plus.
  • Strong outside sales background required.
