Commercial Electronic Systems Account Manager - UP TO $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS

We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual with exceptional leadership skills to join our team as an Account Sales Representative in the DC, MD, VA regions.

Core Accountabilities include: Ability to sell our commercial, integrated low voltage systems solutions. Our offerings include communication infrastructure (voice, video, and data), fire, sound, security, access control, and CCTV. This person works closely with the customer to deliver the best solutions for their immediate and future needs. Maintain the ARK mission statement, goals, and values as a standard of performance and conduct at all times.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Sell low voltage commercial systems effectively.
  • Maintain and archive proposals and bids for future reference.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements.
  • Assist customers with technical and installation issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with established accounts.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of standard practices within low voltage product lines and construction; technical background in electronics and communication is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Understanding of installation practices and construction procedures is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with standards related to low voltage wiring, fire alarm, sprinkler systems, and device installation.
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation are required; ability to obtain Maryland Security Systems Sales and VA DCJS licenses.
  • Mobility for site surveys and inspections.
  • Positive, respectful attitude to foster good relationships with management, staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with flexible time management.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in industries such as sound, low voltage wiring, fire alarm, life safety, construction, or electrical fields is a plus.
  • Strong outside sales experience is essential.
