NY State Solar is seeking a Commercial Electrician to assist with new installations and rehabilitations in the New York area. The role requires installing upgrades, wiring solar arrays, and ensuring safety on-site.

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience as an electrician, own tools, and be prepared for outdoor work in various weather conditions. OSHA 10/30 certification is preferred and must be willing to drive to job sites around NYC and Long Island.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Commercial electrician.
• Willing to work on roofs with pitched surfaces.
• Comfortable with heights and extreme weather.
• Ability to drive to NYC boroughs and Long Island for jobs.

Responsibilities

• Install full service upgrades from PSEG connections.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and perform repairs.
• Install, test, and commission solar-related electrical systems.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping at job sites.
• Attend training on new products and safety procedures.
