6 & Fix is expanding its team and seeks a skilled Commercial Electrician to lead and execute commercial electrical projects across the Triangle area in North Carolina. You’ll oversee power distribution, lighting upgrades, control wiring, and connections to commercial equipment, within a stable, family-owned environment offering year-round work and strong benefits.

• Ability to work Monday – Friday starting at 7:30 AM.
• Expert knowledge of the NEC, pipe bending, 3-phase systems, and control wiring.
• Journeyman Electrical License preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and basic hand/power tools.

Responsabilidades

At 6 & Fix, we are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Commercial Electrician to lead and execute commercial electrical projects across the Triangle area. Whether it’s power distribution, lighting upgrades, control wiring, or commercial equipment connections, we provide a stable, supportive environment with year-round work and top-tier benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution: Perform installations, alterations, additions, and repairs on commercial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.

Wiring & Conduit: Bend, run, and install conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC), pull wire, and wire electrical panels, transformers, and commercial machinery.

Blueprints & Schematics: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications to complete projects accurately and to code.

Code & Safety Compliance: Ensure all installations strictly adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety standards.

Job Site Leadership: Coordinate project steps with project managers, general contractors, and internal HVAC/mechanical teams to keep projects on schedule.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 4+ years of experience as a commercial electrician working on commercial construction or remodel projects.

Schedule: Ability to work Monday – Friday starting at 7:30 AM.

Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of the NEC, pipe bending, 3-phase systems, commercial panels, and control wiring.

Certifications: Journeyman Electrical License preferred (or equivalent documented commercial experience).

Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and basic hand/power tools of the trade.
