Construction Mechanics Inc. in Summit and Stark Counties seeks an experienced Commercial Electrician to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings. You will read blueprints, bend conduit, wire, and connect panels and lighting while following NEC codes and safety procedures.

Journeyman level preferred. Must have reliable transportation, a valid license, and ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician (journeyman level preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and construction plans.
• Skilled in conduit bending, pulling wire, and installing fixtures.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• State licensing or certification (if required in your area).

Responsabilités

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Run, bend, and install conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC), wire, and cable.
• Install and connect panels, switches, breakers, lighting, and control systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Test systems using appropriate tools to ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades.
• Follow NEC codes, OSHA standards, and company safety procedures.
