Responsibilities cover installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with codes. Positions require reading blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or supervisory level electrician experience
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Willingness to work in commercial/industrial settings

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, using tools and techniques to resolve problems efficiently.
• Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to ensure a safe work environment.
• Work closely with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime.

Job Responsibilities for Commercial and Industrial Electrician:
