Job summary

Allied Mechanical is seeking a Journeyman Electrician with commercial experience to run projects from start to finish. You will read electrical drawings, enforce safety standards, diagnose and install equipment, and perform quality control inspections to ensure compliance with code and design intent.

Requirements include 4+ years of electrical experience, knowledge of local codes, ability to read drawings, and a valid driver's license. OSHA 10 is a plus; background and drug screens are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable local electrical codes.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specs, and RFIs.
• OSHA 10 certification a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specs and one-line diagrams; direct accurate field installations.
• Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance on all job sites; lead toolbox talks and site safety audits.
• Diagnose, repair and install electrical equipment in residential and commercial settings.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure installations meet code and design intent.
