IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical in Chester, VA is seeking a full-time Electrician to perform electrical tasks in commercial settings under general supervision. The role requires reading drawings, terminating cables, and installing/troubleshooting control wiring.

Candidates must have 4 years of commercial electrical field experience, a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain, and pass pre-employment background and MVR checks. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of recent commercial electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Pre-employment background check and MVR check where operating motor vehicles is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision.
• Reads and interprets construction electrical drawings, terminates cables, installs and troubleshoots control wiring from drawings.
• Monitors work in progress and reports variances in a timely manner.
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
