Job summary

Erwin Electric, Inc. is an established electrical contractor serving the Tampa Bay area since 1997. We are seeking Commercial Electricians to join our team in a full-time role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of commercial electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a team environment while adhering to NEC and local codes. A journeyman license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in electrical trade with a focus on commercial installations.
• Troubleshooting experience is required.
• Ability to speak fluent English is required.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Journeyman electrician license is strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Clean criminal background check and able to pass a drug test.
• Able to use sales and job tracking software in the field.
• High School Diploma or GED plus vocational cert or 5 years journeyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of professionalism.
• Assemble and install electrical equipment, conductors, lighting, devices, and materials per customer scope.
• Perform testing, upgrades, and repairs to electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure installations meet NEC and Florida Building Code requirements.
• Maintain tools and manage truck stock inventory levels.
• Test electrical systems, detect causes of failures, replace/repair components.
• Maintain records of work performed and submit reports as required.
• Work effectively in a strong team environment.

Erwin Electric, Inc. is currently seeking Commercial Electricians in the Tampa Bay Area.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of professionalism
• Assemble and install electrical equipment, conductors, lighting, devices, and associated material to meet all requirements of the customer’s scope
• Perform Testing, Upgrades, and Repairs to electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure that installations are completed in a neat and workmanlike manner and adhere to NEC and Florida Building code requirements
• Maintain company-provided tools and manage truck stock inventory levels
• Tests electrical systems and equipment, detects causes of electrical failures and malfunctions; replaces and/or repairs components
• Maintains records of work performed; submits reports as required
• Must be able to work in a strong team environment

Compensation

Total compensation for Electricians is based on experience and/or licensing. Candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance will receive top pay.
