Job summary

Erwin Electric, Inc. in the Tampa Bay Area seeks a Lead Commercial Service Electrician to supervise a team of electricians, ensure projects meet standards, and deliver on time and within budget.

Total compensation is based on experience/licensing and top performers may receive higher pay. As the Lead Commercial Service Electrician, you will manage crew activities, ensure safety, read plans, and coordinate on-site tasks while delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with vocational/technical electrical certification or 5 years journeyman experience.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical trade with a focus on service work.
• Minimum 2 years experience in lead/supervisory position.
• Journeyman license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
• Clean criminal background check and able to pass a drug test.
• Professional Appearance and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, upgrades and repairs to electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure installations meet OSHA, NEC, and Florida Building Code requirements.
• Maintain company-provided tools and manage job site inventory levels.
• Maintain records of work performed and submit reports as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

As the Lead Commercial Service Electrician, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of electricians to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget. Total compensation for Commercial Service Lead Electrician is based on experience and/or licensing. Candidates with exceptional experience and a successful history of performance will receive top pay.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company-provided tools and manage job site inventory levels

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. supplemented by a vocational/technical certification in electrical work and/or five (5) years of experience at the journeyman level
• Minimum 5 years in the electrical trade with a focus on service work
• Minimum 2 years experience in lead/supervisory position
• Journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification is strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use hands to hold, feel, or reach electrical components
• Stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, or crawl for extended periods of time

• Ability to regularly lift and move 50 lbs
