Job summary

Controlled Combustion is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our NYC-area team. Work under the Master Electrician and alongside seasoned electricians to service 2500 buildings, performing installations, maintenance, and diagnostics.

You should have 5+ years in the electrical field, OSHA training, and a valid driver’s license. In-person, full-time on-site work with opportunities for overtime and growth.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in the electrical field, residential/commercial boiler controls a plus.
• OSHA training and safety compliance are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; valid driver's license required.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities are necessary.
• In-person, on-site work in NYC area; willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Master Electrician on daily tasks and with projects.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across client buildings.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for installations and repairs.
• Bend piping and conduit; manage testing equipment and safety practices.
• Follow job schedules and safety protocols on-site.

Controlled Combustion is a diverse and stable 40-year-old full service commercial heating company comprised of over 150 employees is looking to add a experienced Commercial Electrician to its current team.

As member of our team, you will work daily under the guidance of our in-house Master Electrician and side by side with one of our Experienced Electricians to perform various electrical tasks to help maintain the 2500 buildings we manage for our clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
