Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Commercial Electrician for contract-to-hire roles based in Wheeling, IL. You will run wire, bend conduit, and troubleshoot on commercial projects, interacting with general contractors on site.

Positions include journeyman and apprentice level electricians on medium to large construction sites. The role is fully onsite in Wheeling, IL, with a pay range of $22.00–$36.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits eligible for eligible employees.

Job Title: Commercial Electrician

We are seeking dedicated journeyman electricians and apprentice level electricians to join our team for medium to large-sized commercial construction projects. The work involves both new constructions and reconstructions, where you will be responsible for running wire, bending conduit, and troubleshooting on various commercial projects.

• Show and delegate tasks to electrician helpers.
• Work on both new constructions and reconstruction projects.
• Interact with general contractors and other subcontractors on site.

Essential Skills

• Experience with commercial electrician work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience with electrical construction.

Work Environment

All work is conducted on commercial job sites, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, hotels, and high-end residential properties. This role requires interaction with general contractors and other subcontractors on site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr.
