Job Description

We are seeking a qualified electrician to join LJ Electrical Company, a leading provider of electrical services across North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with job specifications, NEC, and local codes.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman's License or other electrical license OR
• 4 to 7 years of related experience or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Must comply with company's drug and alcohol requirements and background screening process

Responsibilities:

• Layout, install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical systems based on job specifications, NEC, and local codes
• Install raceways, wiring, devices, and terminate electrical gear
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and ensure compliance with safety rules and electrical codes
• Use various tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, meters, and meggers
• Direct and instruct apprentices in installing, maintaining, or repairing electrical systems
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including trench digging and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Prioritize safety in all electrical system installations
