Job summary

Airco Mechanical in Round Rock, TX seeks a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our commercial team. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in line with NEC and local codes, read blueprints, and supervise apprentices on site.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas Journeyman license, have 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience, and at least 1 year as Journeyman/Leadman. You must pass a background check and drug screen; we offer competitive pay and strong benefits.

• Valid State of Texas Journeyman Electrical License.
• 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience.
• 1+ year serving as a Journeyman/Leadman.
• Able to pass a background check and a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs per NEC and project specs.
• Read blueprints and schematics to plan conduit paths, wire pulls, and device placement.
• Set and terminate panels, switchgear, transformers, and related equipment.
• Electrical testing, troubleshooting, and inspections to verify performance.
• Lead apprentices with clear instruction and safety coaching.
• Hitting timelines with precision and quality.
• Coordinate daily with foremen, supervisors, and allied trades.
• Drive OSHA and site safety compliance.
• Flag material needs and shortages to keep jobs moving.
• Maintain tools and an orderly work area.

Compensation

Hourly range: $35–$42. The exact offer is based on your experience, education, certifications, and relative seniority; offers are not assured at the top of the range.
