Utilities One is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee electrical projects and field operations across multiple job sites in Florida. The role requires an active Florida electrical license and willingness to travel frequently, ensuring compliance with NEC, building codes, and safety standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and project documents.
  • Journeyman/Master Electrician or Florida Certified/Registered Electrical Contractor credentials.
  • Experience with estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and construction-management software.
  • Experience working across multiple Florida jurisdictions.

  • Monitor schedules, budgets, productivity, quality, and site performance.
  • Identify risks, delays, design conflicts, and material shortages; implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct site visits, safety observations, quality inspections, and progress reviews.
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, clients, vendors, inspectors, engineers, and internal departments.
  • Support estimating, proposals, change orders, procurement, and project closeout activities.
  • Verify work documentation, testing, inspections, and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate project records, daily reports, progress updates, and compliance documentation.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate field personnel as needed.
  • Promote safety, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Respond to urgent field issues and provide technical guidance.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee electrical projects, field operations, and electrical teams across multiple job sites. The successful candidate must hold an active and valid Florida electrical license and be available to travel frequently.

This position is responsible for ensuring electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, project specifications, and company standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Active and valid Florida electrical license appropriate for the company’s work; license must remain in good standing throughout employment.
  • Minimum of five years of electrical construction, installation, maintenance, or field-operations experience.
  • Previous experience supervising electrical teams and managing multiple projects or job sites.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code, Florida Building Code, electrical safety requirements, permitting, and inspection processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, specifications, and project documents.
  • Journeyman, Master Electrician, or Florida Certified/Registered Electrical Contractor credentials relevant to the position.
  • Experience managing commercial, industrial, multifamily, renewable-energy, or other applicable electrical projects.
  • Experience with estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and construction-management software.
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions in Florida.
