Orion Placement in Aberdeen, MD is seeking a Commercial Electrical Project Manager to lead projects from planning through completion, ensuring budgets, schedules, and client satisfaction are met. You will coordinate electricians, field crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical trade experience and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to travel to local job

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial electrical construction project management experience.
• Hands-on electrical trade experience or a strong electrical construction background.
• Experience managing manpower, subcontractors, schedules, and project budgets.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical construction safety practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Aberdeen, MD, and travel to local jobsites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical construction projects from kickoff through successful completion.
• Coordinate electricians, field crews, subcontractors, materials, and project schedules.
• Oversee budgets, labor costs, material takeoffs, and project profitability.
• Review electrical drawings, blueprints, contracts, RFIs, and change orders.
• Visit jobsites regularly to monitor progress, solve problems, and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with field supervisors, vendors, and internal leadership to keep projects moving.
• Build strong relationships with customers while mentoring and supporting your team.
