Job summary

Mastercraft Electric, Inc. seeks a Commercial Electrical Engineer to design and implement electrical systems for high‑performance commercial and industrial projects in the Pacific Northwest.

This role collaborates with the Project Management Team and field crews to translate concepts into buildable, code‑compliant designs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Bluebeam, Accubid, and PDF editors, and a solid knowledge of NEC and energy codes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in building systems and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Bluebeam, Accubid, PDF editors, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, energy codes, and commercial building systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Preferred); PE Stamp (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Translate concepts and drawings into buildable, efficient, code-compliant designs.
• Collaborate closely with the client, project team, and field crews.
• Apply NEC, energy codes, and best practices to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Help lay the foundation for a scalable, in-house engineering and design group.
