Job summary

Premier Service Company is seeking experienced electricians for our Birmingham, AL projects. You will work on commercial ground-up construction from slab to energization, reading blueprints, and leading small crews on large sites.

We value reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. A Journeyman’s license is preferred, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen is required. Authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial electrical experience, preferably in new construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work cleanly and safely on job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug screens.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Commercial ground-up new construction — from slab to energization.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and install switchgear, panels, and distribution equipment.
• Read and build from full construction blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Lead small crews on assigned scopes of work on large project sites.
• Work to National Electrical Code standards — We follow it to the letter.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of commercial electrical experience — new construction background preferred
• Journeyman’s License preferred, but not required for the right candidate with the right attitude
• You can read a set of prints without being walked through them
• You show up on time, work clean, and take pride in what you install
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Authorized to work in the United States
