Job summary

Walter General Agency is seeking an experienced commercial E&S underwriter to join our team in Ballwin, MO. This full-time, in-person role focuses on building relationships with carriers, wholesale agents, and internal producers to secure competitive quotes.

The ideal candidate has strong P&C knowledge, sales drive, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Reader. A P&C license is preferred but not required, and there is a clear path for skill development within a collaborative, energetic team.

• Provide timely quotes and negotiate with all parties involved.
• Coordinate administrative workflows with support teams to address service issues.
