Job summary

Precision Walls, Inc. seeks a Sales/Estimator to join our team in the construction industry.

The role involves communicating with team members, delivering presentations, and developing building estimates and feasibility studies based on blueprints and schematics. You will read and interpret technical manuals, stay updated on building components and regulations, and use estimating software (Quick Bid, On-Screen Takeoff) to prepare reports and supervise project aspects as needed.

• Maintain technical knowledge of building components and their function.
• Knowledge of building components life cycle values and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and/or supervision to architects, structural engineers, and independent building contractors.
• Knowledge of the operating practices of construction, architectural, and building firms.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local building codes, ordinances, and regulations.
• Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
• Ability to make complex operating, administrative, and procedural decisions.
• Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations.
• Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
