The Opportunity

The Commercial Driver position for Victory Packaging involves driving a company tractor and trailer to deliver products to our customers. Routes typically involve 4-10 stops, unloading via lift gate with pallet jack, and placing palletized products inside customer locations. Drivers will use ELDs, log activities, and comply with all regulations. Routes are generally under 150 miles round trip but may be longer depending on location.

Pay: $20-$22/hr

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor and trailer safely for deliveries.
• Perform vehicle inspections.
• Use mobile apps for ELD and proof of delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery.
• Follow safety rules per DOT, OSHA, and company policies.
• Ensure orders are delivered in good condition and complete.
• Communicate with operations staff about customer concerns.
• Use material handling equipment like hand trucks.

Qualifications

• Current CDL Class A license
• Current medical certification card
• At least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Basic computer literacy preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Driving Record Requirements

Must not have on MVR/PSP records within the past 36 months:

• More than 3 moving violations
• More than 1 at-fault accident
• More than 1 suspension
• More than 3 violations in inspections
• More than 2 excessive speed violations (10+ mph over limit)

Physical Demands

Must be able to:

• Perform duties in severe weather conditions.
• Sit and drive up to 10 hours.
• Lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Have close, distance, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment
