Apex Waste Solutions in Gypsum, CO is hiring a Commercial CDL Driver to join our safety‑driven team. You will operate trash and recycling trucks, follow designated routes, and provide reliable service to customers while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle and reporting any issues to dispatch.

This full‑time position requires a valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement, the ability to lift 50+ lbs, and comfort working outdoors in all weather.

Qualificações

• Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Waste industry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check & drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle (trash truck, roll-off truck, etc.) to collect waste and recyclables.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pickups.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Load, transport, and unload trash, recycling, and other waste materials at designated disposal facilities.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE and handling hazardous materials if applicable.
• Assist with additional tasks such as cleaning and maintaining the vehicle, reporting missed pickups, and documenting daily work logs.
• Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure route efficiency and timely service.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
