DH Pace Company, Inc. in Champaign, IL is hiring Commercial Door Technicians and Installers for automatic and manual entry doors. We welcome both experienced technicians and trainees.

Work includes installing and servicing commercial doors and hardware, repairing and troubleshooting issues, and maintaining safety at all times. A valid driver’s license is required and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to safely lift 100 pounds overhead.
• Commercial door experience and welding experience preferred; however, we are willing to train!
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Experience in construction, as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade is helpful! We are willing to train!

Responsibilities

• Install/Service commercial entry doors and door hardware OR Install/Service of commercial doors (sectional, rolling steel, high speed, etc...).
• Repair, adjust, replace, and/or troubleshoot issues with entry doors and associated hardware OR commercial doors
• Operate in a safety conscious manner at all times
