Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) / Underwater Engineering Services, Inc. (UESI) seeks a Commercial Diving Supervisor to oversee dive teams in Fort Pierce, FL. The role requires ADCI supervisor certification, a diving medical, and the ability to lead emergency response and safety programs.

The candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, manage life-support equipment, and develop pre- and post-dive procedures while coordinating with on-site personnel to maintain project safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• ADCI Accredited Commercial Diving Diploma required.
• Must be medically certified as fit to dive.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with diving regulations and employer safety manual.
• Maintain life-support equipment and diving gear prep.
• Be on duty for immediate control and emergency response.
• Develop dive plans, checklists, and emergency procedures.
• Assign duties and supervise all dive team members.
• Keep diver wellbeing checks and supervisor logbooks up to date.
• Communicate effectively with vessel operators and teams during dives.
