The role

As our Commercial Director on the Revenue Management team, you will be part of the exciting journey of further growing our Revenue Management and Pricing expertise across the United States! This role sits at the intersection of research knowledge, commercial acumen, and revenue management expertise, connecting client business challenges to SKIM’s solutions.

You are someone who is naturally action-oriented, brings positive energy, gets excited about having client relationships and is also excited to grow the rest of the team in that area!

More specifically, you can imagine yourself:

  • Shaping the commercial strategy for the team
  • Linking client needs to SKIM’s innovative solutions
  • Ensuring deliverables connect insights to client business questions and future opportunities.
  • Identifying opportunities for account growth, both by yourself as well as the team
  • Acting as a mentor on project teams from a commercial perspective (from guiding proposals to joining client calls, and delivering results together with the team)
  • Educating and elevating the team’s knowledge of Revenue Management by bringing an outside-in perspective
Qualifications

  • A strong quantitative end-to-end research/insights background, preferably at the agency side (8+ years)
  • Commercial savviness. In this role you are responsible for growing our client relationships together with the team, and we believe you will be successful if you are naturally excited by this
  • Expertise in revenue (growth) management
  • Solid foundation in pricing and revenue management methodologies (e.g., conjoint, discrete choice, elasticity modeling, secondary data analytics) and ability to translate technical results into strategic client recommendations.
  • Someone who likes action, brings positive energy, is not afraid to step in, and gets excited about having client relationships.
  • You are authorized to work in the United States (resident, citizen, valid visa or other)

Other than that, experience with FMCG clients and more complex ad-hoc methodologies are a plus.
