Job summary

U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August 2027. This position will work at our Houston, TX office with a hybrid work schedule.

The Commercial Development Intern will rotate between Supply Trading, Marketing/Sales, Support Services and Business Intelligence, creating reports to increase efficiency and understanding of department flows. The role emphasizes learning across departments, developing new processes, and maintaining critical data reports to support inventory, sales, and costs

Qualifications

• Seeking a student pursuing a degree in Business with supply chain/finance/analytics focus.
• Proficiency in Excel and data handling.
• Ability to learn quickly and work with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Special Project: Develop reports to automate workflow
• Understand each departments needs and create new process to advance productivity
• Maintain spreadsheets for inventory, sales, costs, and market prices
• Accurately update customer information
• Respond to customer requests related to invoicing, bols and loading issues
