Job summary

DynaTen Corporation seeks a Delivery Driver to safely transport tools, materials, equipment, and fabricated assemblies between facilities, vendors, and jobsites. The role verifies loads, protects materials, completes delivery documentation, and provides professional field and customer service.

This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. Requirements include a valid Texas driver's license with a suitable driving record, and 2+ years in related roles.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving, delivery, warehouse, construction, or closely related experience.
• Ability to safely load, secure, move, and deliver bulky mechanical materials and equipment.
• Ability to use mobile routing, delivery, and documentation technology and communicate professionally.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of loading and unloading and to work the assigned early or variable schedule.
• Commercial driver's license is required only when operating a vehicle for which one is legally required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the assigned vehicle and required safety equipment before use and report defects promptly.
• Verify pick tickets, load identity, quantities, condition, destination, priority, and special handling requirements.
• Load, secure, protect, transport, and unload tools, materials, equipment, and fabricated assemblies using approved methods.
• Plan safe and efficient routes and communicate delays, access issues, shortages, damage, or delivery exceptions.
• Obtain required signatures, photos, receipts, returns, transfer records, and other delivery documentation.
• Follow vehicle, parking, backing, distracted-driving, load-securement, lift-equipment, jobsite, and customer rules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel, mileage, inspection, maintenance, and incident records.
• Support warehouse receiving, staging, picking, returns, and inventory work when not driving.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
