Overview

We are now hiring an experienced Commercial Delivery Driver with BOX Truck experience. This role is responsible for delivering oversized products to our customer locations within a designated delivery market.

WORLDPAC is a leader in Automotive Replacement Parts. Our business focus is wholesale only; this position does not require automotive parts experience, retail business, or Sunday work.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensuring health and safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, and always acting safely
• Operate various classes of trucks (Box trucks of different sizes)
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Performing manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs
• Proper placarding of vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements/regulations
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations
• Safely operate vehicles following U.S. DOT and other regulations
• Complete all required training within the first 10 days of employment
• Follow company policies, report safety concerns, and adhere to safety and conduct standards

Qualifications

Needed Requirements:

• Valid California Class C license
• Ability to use various mobile devices
• Physical capability to perform job functions
• Compliance with OSHA's facial hair standards if respirators are required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial driver experience
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Previous Hazmat experience
• Ability to operate manual transmission
• Manual labor experience

Expected hours: 40 per week
