Job summary

Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America, Inc. seeks an experienced leader to own commercial data strategy, governance, and master data management. The role ensures data integrity across commercial functions, enabling scalable analytics and compliant operations in the US biotech/pharma space.

You will collaborate with Sales Ops, BI, Market Access, and IT to deliver trusted outputs from syndicated and internal datasets, while managing a data warehouse and data service providers. Travel is occasional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, business analytics, or related field.
• 4+ years’ experience in data management, MDM, and commercial analytics within biotech, pharma, or life sciences.
• Experience with commercial datasets including syndicated data, market access, and sales analytics.
• Understanding of MDM principles and managing HCP, HCO, payer, and product master data.
• Experience collaborating with global teams, managing cross-regional data integration and global reporting alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of scalable commercial data architecture.
• Translate priorities into a practical data roadmap balancing strategy and launches.
• Lead MDM initiatives for accurate, governed master data (HCP, HCO, payer, product).
• Partner with Sales Ops/BI and MSP to define data definitions, rules, and data-quality controls.
• Oversee data warehouse, MDM, and reporting platforms; onboard data sources and automation opportunities.
• Serve as liaison among IT, Commercial ops, data providers, and technology partners.
