Job summary

Premier Cooperative is seeking a footwear equipment operator to apply crop protection products, fertilizer, lime, and other inputs. You will handle, load, mix, and transport agricultural products while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The role supports agronomy operations including receiving, inventory, and warehouse tasks, with the potential for seasonal duties such as truck driving, grain handling, and crop scouting. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Agricultural background or experience preferred but not required.
  • CDL or ability to obtain a CDL preferred.
  • Commercial Applicator License or ability to obtain required certifications.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment and work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain application equipment for the custom application of crop protection products, fertilizer, lime, and other agronomic inputs.
  • Safely handle, mix, load, and transport agricultural products while following company, state, and federal regulations.
  • Complete application records and required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections on equipment and facilities.
  • Assist with agronomy operations including product receiving, inventory management, and warehouse activities.
  • Support customers and coworkers with a strong commitment to safety and service.
  • Additional duties may include seasonal tasks such as truck driving, grain handling, crop scouting, shop work, seed handling, and snow removal.
