Job summary

Magnit seeks a detail-oriented Commercial Credit Analyst for a 6-month assignment in Plano, TX. You will contribute to credit risk reporting, portfolio analytics, and leadership-ready presentations for senior management.

Qualifications include a statistics/finance degree, 2–3 years analytical experience, advanced MS Excel, SQL, and experience with Tableau or Power BI. Strong data interpretation and risk assessment skills are required.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Finance - Must Have
• 2-3 years' experience in analytical roles - Must Have
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Demonstrated experience in SQL - Must Have
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI - Must Have
• Problem-solving skills with strengths in Data Acquisition, Manipulation, Cleaning, Analysis and Presentation of Results
• Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and evaluate potential risks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Must Have
• Basic understanding of credit risk concepts - Must Have

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and enhancement of credit risk reporting and dashboards for business and risk decisions.
• Analyze and monitor reports and trackers including originations, maturities, overlines, watch accounts, and exceptions for portfolio management and senior leadership presentations.
• Monitor portfolio reporting compliance and maintain online credit files.
