FNBC Bank & Trust in La Grange, IL is hiring a Commercial Credit Analyst II. You will support informed credit decisions for commercial borrowers, analyze financial statements, and prepare loan presentations. The role offers a hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits.

You will work with Loan Officers and Loan Operations to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements while delivering sound credit decisions.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and/ or equivalent background and experience.
• 3+ years of Commercial Credit Analyst experience.
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial statements and general accounting.
• Strong computer proficiency – Windows and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional analytical ability and a problem-solving mindset.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Spread moderately difficult to complex financial statements and analyze applications for commercial credit and loan review.
• Calculate debt service coverage and collateral assessments.
• Investigate moderately difficult to complex credit records and financial information.
• Review real estate appraisals and environmental reports.
• Prepare loan presentations and recommendations based on financial findings.
• Monitor borrowing base calculations.
• Independently contact customers and accountants relative to loan requests.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
