Job summary

Seamen's Bank in Provincetown, MA is seeking a Dynamic Credit Analyst to join its Commercial Lending Team in person. The role centers on credit analysis of new and existing loans to support revenue growth, asset quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with commercial lenders to assess credit risk, prepare loan approval memorandums, conduct financial analysis of borrowers, and assign risk ratings in line with bank policies.

Qualifications

• In-depth analysis of financial statements and tax returns to evaluate credit strength and risk.
• Prepare credit memorandums for new loans, renewals, reviews, and extensions.
• Identify policy exceptions and mitigating factors in loan proposals.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure accurate risk ratings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of company financial statements and tax returns to determine credit strengths and weaknesses.
• Review, analyze and interpret credit reports, personal financial statements, and tax returns.
• Prepare credit memorandum for new loan requests, renewals, reviews, modifications, and extensions.
• Confer with the commercial team to ensure risk ratings are accurate.
