Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Shelton, CT (Hybrid) seeks an Associate Counsel to partner with leaders across the organization, negotiate complex commercial agreements, and provide practical legal guidance that drives business growth.

You will handle a wide range of commercial matters, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and balance risk with business objectives while supporting enterprise initiatives within Hubbell’s Electrical Solutions segment.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a US-accredited law school and bar membership in good standing.
• 3–5 years of relevant commercial law experience, law firm and/or in-house.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and cross‑border projects.

Responsibilities

• Advise business clients on a range of commercial issues with clear, practical guidance.
• Support Hubbell Electrical Solutions and Enterprise legal department initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Legal Department to deploy contract lifecycle management and ensure policy compliance.
• Identify opportunities for training business clients on legal, regulatory, and compliance topics.
