About the Opportunity

An Electronics and Technology Company is looking for a lawyer with 5+ years of experience in Commercial Contracts and Intellectual Property for a 3 to 4 month engagement starting as soon as possible.

The work will involve supporting the technology, research, and development operations of the company’s business development and R&D subsidiary, with a primary focus on its start-up accelerator, investment, and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and support negotiation of various types of complex agreements, including technology license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, software-as-a-service agreements, proof of concept agreements, MOUs, and vendor agreements.
• Provide legal support for the subsidiary’s innovation ecosystem, including strategic partnerships, investment teams, industry collaborations, and new business accelerator programs.
• Support outside counsel on technology-related transactions and investments.
• Location: On-site in Englewood Cliffs, NJ; Lincolnshire, IL; Santa Clara, CA; or Morgantown, WV
• Schedule: Full-time
• Duration: 3 to 4 months
• Compensation: $85 to $100 per hour

Requirements

• Candidates must be able to work full‑time on‑site at one of the listed locations.
• Experience with commercial contracts and intellectual property is required.
• Previous experience at both a major law firm and in‑house at a technology company is preferred.
• Candidates will be employed through an Employer of Record (W‑2) for the duration of the engagement.
