Zusammenfassung

Evolved Lighting & Energy is seeking an experienced Commercial Controls Electrician to install HVAC controls and BAS systems on commercial projects across Ohio. You will handle field installations from rough-in to final termination, reading plans and wiring diagrams as you connect controllers, sensors, and panels.

The role emphasizes independent work, troubleshooting, and occasional supervision of a small crew under the Controls Foreman. Prior BAS experience and drive are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC controls/BAS installation experience.
• Independently take controls work from plans and submittals into a finished field installation.
• Strong controls wiring, conduit, device installation, and terminations skills.
• Working knowledge of BAS communication networks and commercial HVAC equipment.

Aufgaben

• Install HVAC controls and BAS systems from rough-in through final termination.
• Install controllers, thermostats, sensors, actuators, valves, relays, control panels, and other field devices.
• Run conduit and J-hooks, pull control/communication wire, and perform clean, accurate terminations.
• Install BACnet MS/TP and Ethernet/CAT6 networks, including CAT6 and RJ45 terminations.
• Read controls plans, submittals, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation.
• Assemble and wire control panels.
• Perform point-to-point checks, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning support.
• Coordinate with mechanical contractors, controls vendors, electricians, and other trades.
• Lead a small group of technicians or electricians on assigned controls work when needed.

TheRole

We'relookingforanexperiencedCommercialControlsElectricianwhounderstandshowHVACcontrolandBuildingAutomationSystems(BAS)cometogetherinthefield.

You'llworkoncontrolsforRTUs,VAVs,AHUs,CUHs,exhaustfans,boilers,pumps,VFDs,andothercommercialHVACequipment—takinginstallationsfromrough-inthroughfinalterminationandcommissioningsupport.

Wewantsomeonewhocanworkindependently,understandthesystemthey'reinstalling,troubleshootproblems,andleadasmallcrewwhenassignedunderourControlsForeman.

Thisisprimarilyaninstallationrole.BASprogrammingandengineeringarenotprimaryresponsibilities,althoughexperiencewithBASsoftware,networking,andcommissioningisaplus.

Schedule&Travel

Full-time,typically40–45hoursperweek.Thisisafield-basedpositionwithtravelprimarilythroughoutOhioandoccasionalovernight/regionaltravel.Overtime,earlystarts,ornightworkmayberequiredbasedonprojectneeds.
