Job summary

Rockport Construction Group is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead premier interior finish-out, renovation, and ground-up projects in the DFW area from Plano, TX. You will manage daily field operations, coordinate sub-contractors, ensure safety, and maintain quality on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of commercial superintendent experience, strong leadership and negotiation skills, and a track record of coordinating trade partners and project teams across

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
• Experience with interior finish-outs, medical facilities, retail, high-rise office, or warehouse builds.
• Proven leadership with trade partners, field personnel, and site logistics.
• Familiarity with local city building codes, permitting, and inspection processes across DFW.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations from permitting through punch list.
• Schedule trade contractors, manage material deliveries, allocate resources.
• Enforce quality control to ensure workmanship meets plans and specs.
• Interface with architects, inspectors, city officials, and clients to resolve issues.
• Maintain clean, safe, compliant job sites to maximize efficiency.
• Negotiate change orders to control field costs.
