Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee, schedule, and coordinate all construction activities.
- Maintain and update project schedules to prevent delays.
- Provide accurate and timely progress reports to internal teams and clients.
- Ensure all work aligns with project budgets and quality expectations.
- Verify compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and contract requirements.
- Schedule and oversee inspections, ensuring deficiencies are promptly addressed.
- Maintain accurate records of safety measures, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Identify and mitigate on-site risks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Maintain a comprehensive log of project activities, changes, and communications.
- Document all change orders and construction plan modifications.
- Provide timely updates to all stakeholders, ensuring clarity and preventing costly misunderstandings.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions with clients, lenders, and subcontractors.
- Clearly communicate project expectations and ensure vendor accountability.
- Document and address vendor or subcontractor performance issues.
- Assist in bid preparation and defining contract scopes of work.
- Monitor project progress to identify and resolve potential delays or issues.
- Address deficiencies found in inspections or test reports.
- Take immediate action to correct vendor non-performance or contract non-compliance.
- Adapt plans as necessary to navigate unforeseen challenges while maintaining project momentum.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial construction management experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, OSHA standards, and industry regulations.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently.
- Proven leadership in team coordination, vendor management, and subcontractor oversight.
- Ability to problem-solve, make quick decisions, and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to maintain clear records and stakeholder alignment.
- Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and reporting systems.
- OSHA 30 certification.
