Job summary

Aszkenazy Development is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage site operations and align with client expectations.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, be proficient in reading blueprints, and hold OSHA certification.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent (5+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• OSHA certification and familiarity with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including PMs, architects, and clients.
• Resolve on-site challenges and implement timely solutions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.

Role Summary:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate has strong communication and relationship-building skills, visionary thinking and problem-solving, flexibility in a dynamic environment, and empathy.
