Job Details

The Construction Superintendent oversees all field operations for the projects assigned to ensure timely and profitable completion. This position requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management abilities and strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Oversee all aspects of a construction project, from planning to implementation
2. Oversee daily operations at a construction site
3. Lead daily morning meetings with the entire crew
4. Allocate resources for assigned projects
5. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
6. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
7. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
8. Follow construction drawings and approved plans
9. Order necessary equipment, tools, and materials
10. Write Daily Logs And Other Essential Documentation
11. Ensure that the team adheres to all company policies and safety protocols

Qualifications And Experience

1. Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
2. Familiarity with construction management software
3. Strong leadership qualities
4. Strong negotiation skills
5. Deadline and detail-oriented
6. Ability to maintain a construction project schedule
7. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
8. Ability to develop, implement, monitor, and control the project's Quality Control program
9. Must have excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, Project, Procore, etc.)
10. Live locally; no relocation assistance is provided
11. Must be able to lift over 25+ pounds
