Real Floors, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Manager to oversee flooring projects in Richmond, VA, with full-time travel to surrounding markets. Responsibilities include coordinating with GC teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring profitable, timely project completion.

The role requires 2+ years CM experience with 3+ years in commercial construction, strong organizational and communication skills, and willingness to travel. A company vehicle is provided after probation.

• 2+ years of experience as a commercial Construction Manager (not residential construction).
• 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel full-time temporarily outside of North Carolina.
• Energetic "go getter" who takes initiative and values doing things right the 1st time
• Highly organized with an eye for details
• Strong follow-up and communication skills with all external and internal players of commercial construction projects.
• Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is a plus, but is not required.
• Existing in-market relationships with commercial construction GC's and/or commercial flooring installation crews is a plus.

REPORTS TO: General Manager

LOCATION: Richmond, VA (+ travel to surrounding markets)

PAY RANGE: Starting at $70,000 DOE

After a probationary period, a company vehicle will be provided. Must have a valid Driver License & clean driving record.

JOB OVERVIEW

The commercial Construction Manager (CM) is the vital link between the commercial construction project, commercial flooring subcontractors, and the Project Manager (PM). The Construction Manager role is similar to that of a field superintendent.

In addition to maintaining the workflow/schedule, overseeing the commercial flooring installation and fostering positive partner relationships on the project, the commercial CM gathers vital information about the commercial construction project, materials and commercial flooring installation and relays that information back to the Project Manager.

This position may require travel outside of Virginia to other markets.
