Job summary

Resource Options Inc. is seeking dependable Construction Laborers for ongoing commercial projects throughout Portland, Windham and surrounding Southern Maine areas.

Responsibilities include site cleanup, material handling, and assisting skilled tradesmen in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates hold a 10-hour OSHA certificate, have at least one year of construction experience, and can work independently with reliability and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10-hour certification required.
• At least 1 year of construction experience.
• Demolition experience is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work independently.
• Positive attitude with focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to locations per project plans or specifications.
• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.
• Assist skilled tradesmen on a fast-paced construction site.

Job description

We're currently seeking dependable Construction Laborers for a variety of active ongoing commercial projects throughout Portland, Windham, and other surrounding Southern Maine areas. Responsibilities may include site cleanup, material handling, demolition, and assisting skilled tradesmen in a fast-paced construction environment. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build valuable skills, and work alongside some of the region's top contractors.

• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications
• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures
• Demolition experience a plus

The ideal candidate has a 10-hour OSHA certificate. At least one year of construction experience. Commercial demolition experience is a plus. Must be reliable, have transportation and be able to work independently. Positive attitude, attention to detail and focus on safety and quality is required.

Pay is $20-$22 based on experience, background, and references.
